Disney Princesses!

Yesterday I went with my mother-in-law and (almost) 4 year old daughter to see Disney's Princesses on Ice. Wow! What a great show. It made me want to visit Disney world again! We sat 3 rows back from the center. The costumes were amazing. My daughter LOVED it. She didn't move a muscle. I'm already talking about going to the ice show next year!

Not wanting to leave my very boyish 7 year old out, I asked him if he wanted to go with us. He replied, "Well... what do they have to eat there?". Let's see, $10 for cotton candy, $6 for a box of popcorn, "You know, you probably wouldn't like it anyway. It's all about princesses." "OK."

Boys are fun to have, but I'm so glad I have girls to take them to events like this!

I got my first awards today from Amy! Thank you Amy!

The first was a You Made My Day Award. I'm supposed to:"Give the award to up to 10 people whose blogs bring you happiness and inspiration and make you feel so happy about blogland! Let them know by posting a comment on their blog so that they can pass it on. Beware! You may get the award several times!"

The second was a Spread the Love award:

I'm going to give this award next to Irene, Leah, Magirk, Kitty, Kila, GrandmaK, Dawn, Lizzy, Bia and Karen. Enjoy, and share the bloggy love.

I'm so glad you had fun at the ice show. It is so much fun having a daughter to take to those kinds of things isn't it?

Congratulations on your awards Maria - and thanks for passing one on!

That show looks fantastic, I know my duaghter would have loved it at that age - now Disney isn't 'cool'. Tsk! x

Hi Maria!

Thank you so much for "bestowing" upon me an award, and a "spread the love" award at that, so nice of you and I'll be sure and pass it along and spread some more luv! Congratulations on your awards, too! Well, deserved!

That Disney on Ice looks so awesome, you're lucky you have a little girl to see it with. I don't think I could get either of my boys to go to one of those, unless, like your son said, there was good food! :)

Thanks for the award!

And my daughter went to Disney on Ice with a friend as part of the friend's birthday celebration, and she had a BLAST. That's all she talked about WEEKS afterwards. Next year, I'd like to try and take her myself to experience the fun. Glad you guys had a nice time!

Hey - thanks for coming over and leaving the well wishes - I am fine - only need to remember about that bra thing the next time I ever have to call 911. Hope to see you tomorrow. Kellan

Girls are the best! Can you tell I just had a fight with my son. :)

Glad you liked the show, I love, love, love going to ice skating. I may just have to go now and see if it's coming to town.

I'm crazy jealous. I wanted to go see that same show, but being in a household full of testosterone, I had no takers. =(

We did, however, catch the Toy Story 2 on Ice a few years back...and THAT was amazing. Fun stuff.

Congratulations on the well deserved award!

Yippe...a double surprise! When you left a comment on my blog saying that you had something for me, I thought you were wanting me to see those lovely photos of the ice show that I had wanted to see. (What a magical evening!) THEN, I noticed the award. Mille grazie (a thousand times, thank you!). God bless!
