OK, this is me. My sister took this picture of me to use on my profile. I WAS going to use it, until I took a closer look. In front of me is a bottle of Peach Schnapps. Behind me to the right is a bottle of gin! Next to that is, uh, something. I'm not really sure. It looks like I'm at a wild party. I was actually at my mom's house for dinner with my sister and her family and my cousin. Not exactly a happening party, but I didn't want anyone getting the wrong impression of me! Oh, and also, there a paper coming out of my head!I think she felt bad for me, because she made me this new layout and is going to try to edit out all that background stuff. So here's the pic for now. Hopefully the new one will come soon. (So, is this what you thought I looked like?)

maria - nice to see you in person! i think it's a good picture. you could always just crop it if you don't want those things in it but i wouldn't judge you either way!
I wouldn't have noticed the drinks, probably cause I don't drink I wouldn't ahve even known what those were.

I have very few pictures of myself because I rarely give anyone else the camara. I think it is a good picture- run with it! Or you know what, if you are putting it in the little box that shows up when you comment, you might want a closer shot- the box is really small. Just a thought. Mines not the greatest.
That is a good picture of you. Thanks for the comment on my blog. I usually igonore scratches on my car (there are several others). But, I have to have this one professionally fixed because the scratch is so deep and I am afraid of rust!

It's a really nice picture! I'm with Amy-just crop it. Or leave it. Honestly, I am boring and don't know what any of those bottles look like. Even if I had, I don't think I would have noticed because I am partly braindead from not sleeping. And, really who is anyone to judge based on what's on your counter?

You have become brave! Cropping the pic will still show much of the background. Just take another pic without so much going on behind you. Have one of the kids do it. If you want I can do it next time I see you or I'm sure your sis can take another one. Maybe a pic at the beach would be nice, in the summer. I love the liquor all around you, that is hysterical. I would have never noticed if you hadn't pointed it out.

I understand perfectly...my Mom is Italian and hosts these wonderful dinner parties and sometimes there are wine bottles everywhere.

I did see the bottles, but only after I looked at it close up. I've been going through old pictures lately and it seems that every occasion, even toddler birthday parties, there are bottles of alcohol on the table. I pictured you as a curly headed brunette! I was soooo off.
I seriously had you in my mind as having thick, wavy, dark brown hair and being rather Italian in looks. Boy was I wrong! =)

OK, I thought brunette too, but you look great as a blond. Just crop it close enough to get the paper out of your head :)
If you hadn't pointed out all that stuff, I would have never noticed. But I know how you feel, my favorite picture of my little family was taken by a friend one night when we were all sitting out on our deck. The bottle of beer on the table in front of the Toddler (who was then a baby) kind of ruined the photo for all usage. Oops.
