I'm finally back to the bloggy world! This is the longest break I've taken. I think I could spend the whole day today just reading everyone's blogs and commenting!

I've been working hard all week trying to finish my spring cleaning. BTW, I'm still not finished. I've washed windows, curtains, carpets, cleaned closets, organized bedrooms, and on and on. I still need to clean my couches, finish washing windows and curtains, clean the garage and basement, and tons of outside work. I wish I was one of the lucky ones who could just hire someone to do it!

In the middle of all this cleaning, my dryer broke! Help! I was just getting ready to do FIVE loads when my dryer wouldn't turn back on. I already had it fixed once, and it IS 15 years old, so we decided to just buy a new one. Problem was, the dryer we picked out wouldn't be delivered for a week! I have four kids and can't go one day without doing laundry, so I've been taking all my wet laundry to my mom's house. It took up a lot of my time.

So anyway, my husband found a great deal online! We paid only $260! It was a clearance model that just happened to be top of the line! How could I pass this up? There are so many buttons, that I need to study the manual just to figure out how to work it.

I'm sure I won't use all the options, but one really cool feature - the sweater dryer. You lay your sweater neatly on the rack to it doesn't get tossed around in the dryer. Hey, who knows, maybe the antibacterial cycle will come in handy! I just got it yesterday, so I play on trying it all out today, along with catching up on all my blogging!

Are you trying to make the rest of us feel lazy? Here I was feeling all proud of myself because I made the bed today.

Wowza...woman, you've been busy!

I've been doing my Spring cleaning bit by bit over the last couple of weeks. Haven't washed the curtains or washed the windows yet, though, and until you'd mentioned it I hadn't even THOUGHT about cleaning the carpets. And looking around, I suppose they could use it!

The new dryer looks AWESOME!

what a fun new "toy!" mine washer/dryer are about as basic as they come. I could probably teach my three year old to do laundry for me... LOL!

enjoy, and congrats on the awesome deal!

Catching up on laundry is THE WORST.

It sounds like you have been so busy. Glad to see you back in the bloggy world. ;)

I am always and forever doing laundry....I am so afraid that my 10 year old washer will give out sooner than I want it too.

Your dryer looks AWESOME. I do at least 5 loads of laundry a day...trying to get it to one seems impossible to me...but I am trying...

I hope your cleaning spree rubs off on me. So fun to get a new dryer! Mine went berserk this weekend too. I think I've got it almost back in shape.

How sad is it that I was all like, "OHHHH, look at the pretty new dryer!" Yeah, not sad at all. Congrats on the major score!

Wow, reading about you cleaning already makes me tired. Good job!
Regarding dryers, I guess it's a good thing I live in a country that has free sunshine all year. I don't have a dryer, just sun dry all our clothes outside.

In our city there is this "little" golf tournament called the Masters, and since we rent our house to Masters patrons every I spend the month leading up to our spring break spring cleaning . . . so I totally know what you've been going through! Carpets, curtains, windows, closets, drawers, garage, etc. all cleaned and organized.

The funny thing is that I really don't mind doing all this work. I like the fact that once a year our house gets a huge overhaul!

I do think, however, that I would have panicked if my dryer had broken in the middle of all that cleaning! And I'm jealous of that sweater dryer!

God bless.

Ok, so share where he found it at...please share!

We got a new washer and dryer when we moved in here but we certainly didn't pay $260, what a deal!

Wow, you certainly make me feel very lazy!

Now you're also making me wish I had a sweater dryer! (as opposed to the kitchen chairs that double duty as sweater dryers......)
